Charlotte hopes that William is doing well in Hanover, but regrets the fact that he will not attend the christening of their little sister [Princess Amelia]. She sends her love to Frederick and compliments to Prince Charles [Charles II, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg], Prince Ernest [Duke Ernest Gottlob Albert of Mecklenburg] and Princess Charlotte [Duchess Charlotte Georgine Luise Friederike of Mecklenburg-Strelitz].
