[Charlotte Jones was a miniature portrait painter to Princess Charlotte of Wales and, after the Princess's death, appears to have sent copies of her correspondence with Princess Charlotte to Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg in 1823. Charlotte Jones subsequently applied to Prince Leopold for assistance from George IV in 1825.]
