DescriptionThis series consists of the surviving personal journals and diaries of Edward VII. There are two early journals in the hands of his tutors and a run of twenty diaries in his own hand from 1852 to 1865, covering his early tours within the British Isles and beyond, as well as the early years of his marriage. Some of these journals include monthly accounts. The series also includes 33 annual 'Calendars' (also in the King's own hand) with brief entries of activities from 1875 until Edward VII's death in 1910.
