Description
In this deposition, taken on oath before John White Gent, the four Englishmen give details of how they escaped their galley after it was caught up in a confrontation with a Spanish sloop and ended up on a French sloop. They also tell about the physical violence used by the Spaniards against all Englishmen on the Galley.
