Description | Menu book for dinners and lunches for William IV and Queen Adelaide, principally at Windsor Castle, occasionally at Kew, Bushy House [London], and Virginia Water [Windsor]. It also includes dinners and lunches for Princess Louise [of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, niece of Queen Adelaide] and George FitzClarence, 1st Earl of Munster. A list of the people attending dinner is often provided. Information about their Majesties' dinners out: at the Duke of Cumberland's [Ernest Augustus ]; at Duke of Buccleuch's [Walter Francis Montagu Douglas Scott]; at the Grand Duchess Helen's; at the Earl of Lichfield's [Thomas William Anson]; at Chiswick.
