Description | Lord Boston reports on his visit to the Bank, accompanied by Mr LeGrand, Mr Watts and two jewellers (Mr Castelfranc and Mr Romilly), in order to appraise the valuable effects (jewels, trinkets and cash bank bills) of the late Princess of Wales. He encloses the jewellers middle priced valuation of the jewels, their opinion on the trinkets and their advice for getting the best price for both. He returns the inventory of the effects to the King. |
