On military affairs, Cornwallis discusses [Tipu Sultan's] 'unexpected irruption into the Coimbatore country' and capture of Palacatcherry; and the actions of Colonel [John] Floyd and General [William] Medows. Cornwallis determines to take on the command of the Army, to increase the confidence of their Allies. Signed.
