Description
Forbes describes the events that led to the Prince placing the boy under his protection, as his father obtained for the Prince the Freedom of the Corporation of Drogheda, and died shortly afterwards. He suggests that the Prince's support for the boy will increase his own popularity, in particular in Ireland.
