DescriptionRoss has written to his Father requesting his black evening trousers to be sent. He thought there had been time enough for him to receive them to dress for dinner and hopes they are on the road. He also hopes to have a letter as he wishes to know how Father is and also Mr Jeffreson. Ross hopes his sisters are well and passes on his regards to Miss Austin if she is staying with them. The Duke of Marlborough has given him a sitting each day and he has made a hasty drawing for him of a bunch of grapes weighing 6lb. The Duchess has taken Ross on a drive around the park - she is a good whip. Ross will be going to Windsor on Monday 23 so he can be expected home on Saturday. He closes by describing his evening walks in the park.
