Description	This collection includes the correspondence of the Duke of Connaught, and that of the Duchess and Queen Victoria from their children. The Duke's early years are covered by daily notes on his education and examination papers from the 1860s. A cash book from this period is also included in these papers, as is a Squad Book of the Rifle Brigade from 1869 representing the beginnings of the Duke's military career. There are also journals of travels and diaries for both the Duke and the Duchess, a guest book (1891-1916), and an inventory of the Duke's insignia and jewellery (1911).
