DescriptionCommenting on the Prince's proposed trip to Egypt, the Queen warns him to be 'very careful in everything you do abroad, & especially in the East'. She remarks on the difficulty of shaking off a bad name once acquired. She regrets that he is being accompanied by Sir Samuel Baker and the Duke of Sutherland: 'If you should ever become King you will find all these Friends most inconvenient & you will have to break with them all'.
