DescriptionThe Prince hopes Albert, the Prince Consort, has had no recurrence of toothache. He reports on seeing some private theatricals in Cambridge, performed by the Amateur Dramatic Club [for enclosed programme see VIC/ADD/A/3/32], noting the participation of [Francis Cowley] Burnand and particularly 'Mr Twiss' [Quintin Twiss], a clerk at the Foreign Office. The Prince mentions going hunting, and dining in the evening with Mr Barnet, Lord Royston and Colonel Teesdale. He also comments on the deaths of Sir George Couper and the Duke of Sutherland.
