Description
The Prince writes from the Royal Lodge, Phoenix Park, expressing pleasure that the Queen has Princess Feodora of Hohenlohe-Langenburg with her at Balmoral. He fears difficulties [regarding his marriage] - 'the best plan is not to be too precipitate in one's movements', and remarks on Press comments on the effect of a Danish marriage. The Prince reports on presenting Colours to the 36th Regiment [later the 2nd Battalion Worcesters] and on his field activities, and expresses regret at leaving the Curragh.
