DescriptionThe Prince is sorry to learn of the Queen's criticism of Sir John Watson-Gordon's portrait and Mr John Steell's bust of him. He reports that Sir W. Alexander has visited to make the final arrangements for the Prince's opening of Middle Temple Library. The Prince also refers to the death of Sir James Graham and to 'bad accounts' of Lady Macdonald.
