Date20 November 1861
WriterFisher, Richard; art collector
AddresseeRuland, Charles; Librarian to the Prince Consort
DescriptionFisher writes that he is sending four [prints] from Ruland's list of desiderata, together with three other prints and a copy of a missing one. He states that he thinks the small drawing, although not by Raphael, is the original of the design no. 403 in Landon; it was in the Mariette collection and he bought it from Woodburn's first sale. He suggests that Ruland should look at the three volumes of prints after Raphael in the British Museum.
