| Description | (61) Cundall writes that Thomas Baring does not recognise the sketch Becker sent, which must be of the wrong painting. He has, however, found a painting by G[ianfrancesco] Penni [in Baring's collection] which matches Waagen's description, and of which he encloses a tracing. He promises to send photographs of a Winterhalter painting soon, and he has engaged an artist to touch up the photograph of the Raphael portrait of a young man in the Baring collection.
