He will go to Aldenham Abbey and to Mr Hope's house soon. Lord Methuen's picture is presumably the Madonna mentioned in VIC/ADDA10/85/69. William Stuart of Aldenham Abbey and Henry Hope are among the Raphael owners listed in VIC/ADDA10/85/75a.
