DescriptionThe Consul states that has received Bairr's letter informing him that the photographic plates he has recently sent him were commissioned by Prince Albert, but as he himself has received no orders from the Prince and he is not permitted to send anything to the court without special authorisation, he asks Bairr to obtain this authorisation via Mr Becker, of whom the Consul has never heard.
Bairr is the person named by Kanné (see VIC/ADDA10/85/252) as the reliable friend to whom he had entrusted the organisation of the photography at Milan.
