DescriptionEastlake states that he is enclosing an answer to the questions Becker has asked him. He adds that he hopes to obtain information about the Gray collection, although there is a difficulty about it.
He also names Mr Harzen of Hamburg as the purchaser of two of them. Mr Harzen' is probably Georg Ernst Harzen (1790-1863), Hamburg art dealer, collector and benefactor of the Hamburg Kunsthalle.
