DescriptionRuland writed to Erskine in response to his letter (see VIC/ADDA10/85/552) stating that the Prince Consort wishes to have the negatives (of the Raphael pictures in the Hermitage) as well as two good prints from each, so that prints can be produced in the best way to prevent their fading.
