TitleNotes of Dr. Ernst Becker's letter to Gustav Waagen specifying Prince Albert's wishes about further photography of works by Raphael in Berlin.
Date7 November 1853
WriterBecker, Ernest, Dr.; Librarian to Prince Albert
AddresseeWaagen, Gustav, Dr.
DescriptionBecker expresses the hope that Waagen is back from his travels. In answer to the questions in his letter of 12 August (see VIC/ADDA10/85/334), the Prince does not want an un-retouched print of the fourth Raphael picture. Of the Duke of Terranuova's picture he would like an un-retouched print only, and if possible the negative itself. The Prince is very happy to give the photograph of the Panshanger Madonna to Waagen.
