DescriptionEnclosed with the letter is a printed catalogue, compiled in 1814 and reprinted in 1859, of the collection formerly belonging to Count Brabeck at Söder and since owned by Count Stolberg. Two pictures are listed in it as by Raphael, in the category of small paintings and cabinet pieces on pages 6 and 7: no.28, a sketch representing 'A heathen sacrifice with 28 figures', and no. 48, 'Simeon worshipping the Infant Jesus, six figures'. With the catalogue is an announcement that the collection is on display in the museum in Hanover and is to be auctioned on 31 October 1859.
