| Description | Art-historical study containing extracts from commentaries by various Raphael experts, on the Little Gonzaga Madonna, the Mazarin Little Holy Family and the Little Holy Family now belonging to M. Jean Petit of Mayennes, France, and comparing these pictures to the Little Holy Family in the Louvre.
Sent to the Keeper of Prints and Drawings in the Royal Library by M. Jean Petit (see VIC/ADDA10/85/568). In her response she calls it 'your study', but it appears to be signed by someone else (signature illegible, possibly J. C?). |
