Description
Letter from John T. Delane to Colonel Charles Beaumont Phipps reporting that in the course of an investigation, in which letters in The Morning Chronicle article 'Labour & the Poor' were provided, he has obtained information that uniforms made for Prince Albert's Regiment of Foot Guards are made 'on terms very unfavourable to the work women employed. He wishes that Colonel Phipps pass this information on to the Prince, as he believes it goes against his 'benevolent disposition'.
