DescriptionLord Minto applied to for an Admiralty steamer to convey the body of the Duke of Bedford from Scotland to London. To prevent similar applications Queen Victoria might say this is done by her express command. Melbourne wishes Queen Victoria to say to the King of Belgium that he is deeply sensible of his good opinion. Also that Her Majesty's happiness is closely connected with the wellbeing of the country.
