Description
Melbourne congratulates Queen Victoria on the event which has taken place so fortunately and so propitiously - her confinement. He is going to Woburn Abbey, where he will see Russell. Has received letters from India which may amuse Her Majesty. Melbourne has just seen correspondence between Napier and [?Bey] in the papers. Does not know how the high opinion which the Commodore expresses of the Pacha will be relished. Lord Ponsonby will certainly not like it. Melbourne congratulates Queen Victoria on the birth of the Princess Royal.
