Description
Further comments of Melbourne on the subject of two heads of a department exercising the influence of the Department in an election, including threats issued by the Lord Steward in case the Watermen at Windsor voted against the Government. The Lord Steward denies. Melbourne fears the matter cannot be kept secret because the dispute occurred before others. Melbourne's comments on the 'Private Memorandum'.
