Date5 August 1840
WriterMelbourne, 2nd Viscount
AddresseeVictoria, Queen
DescriptionThe Ecclesiastical Duties and Revenues Bill passed in the Lords after considerable debate. Melbourne fears there will be the utmost difficulty in getting the Municipal Corporations (Ireland) Bill through. Sorry not to see Queen Victoria, although he has nothing particular to say.
