Description
Enquiry by the War Committee of Cabinet into the progress of manufacture and supply of guns and small arms. Consideration of the report on fortifications by the War Committee. A hundred Armstrong cannons of 1 hundredweight each to be completed shortly. Lord Palmerston on the usual way of communicating Queen Victoria's pleasure to the Home Office as to holding a Garter Chapter. Her Majesty's pleasure requested.
