Longley (Right Reverend Charles Thomas Longley) as Archbishop of York submitted, on the death of the Most Reverend Dr Thomas Musgrave. Honourable and Right Reverend Montagu Villiers (Bishop of Carlisle) proposed as Bishop of Durham, on the appointment of Dr Longley to York.
