Gladstone and John, 1st Earl Russell, to attend on Her Majesty in Scotland. Sir George Grey, 2nd Baronet, to attend on Her Majesty in Scotland and on her return south. Lord Palmerston on the extinction of five Irish Peerages. Her Majesty's power to create a new one, in the event of three becoming extinct. Sir William Somerville (after 1st Baron Athlumney and Baron Meredyth) submitted.
