Her need for a change of air, to enable her 'to go on for a short time longer (though she cannot think it will be long) with her arduous public duties'. Queen Victoria's hopes of the Schleswig-Holstein Conference. The difficulty of its work. Mr Baxter approved by Her Majesty for the Admiralty (but see VIC/MAIN/A/32/42).
