Description	Cabinet considered affairs in Basutoland [Lesotho] (South Africa). Question as to the expediency of sending officers of the Army out there. Kimberly raised the question of whether it would be expedient to send officers to the Transvaal [South Africa]. Cabinet considered that it would alter prematurely the respective responsibilities of the Home and Colonial Governments. Cabinet will consider the conversations of Count Jomini (Italy) as reported by Plunkett. Cabinet considered the doubtful position of Turkey and the Dulcigno question, and agreed to the general terms to be employed by Granville when answering the Italian Government as to their policy in the East. Forster gave the Cabinet a great amount of information on Ireland.
