Title
Letter from Lady Beauvale to Mr Anson
Date
28 January 1849
Writer
Beauvale, Baroness
Addressee
Anson, George Edward
Description
Lady Beauvale's letter to Anson regarding her distress at the inability to find the missing letters. She cannot reconcile Melbourne's apparent neglect with the intense and lively interest with which he received Queen Victoria's attentions. Papers found in several places. No reason to think that the missing letters are in other hands. None likely to be found in Brocket Hall, as he was hardly ever there when in office.
