Description
Bill for allowing emigration of Indians to Mauritius. Ministers defeated. Government defeated on a bill for the importation of flour into Ireland. Russell tells Queen Victoria the Registration of Voters in Ireland Bill is down for Friday and will be defeated in detail. Bill concerning Dr Lushington sitting in Parliament after this one. Russell did not think it wise to divide the House.
