Description
The Attorney General brought in a bill for better administration of the Court of Chancery. Labouchere proposed a plan for equalising duties on East and West India rum. Canterbury and Walsall lost to the Government. Ministers and Opposition nearly on equality. Stanley brought in the Registration of Voters in Ireland Bill again. O'Connell divided the House for postponement. A small minority.
