Description
Will it be Queen Victoria's pleasure to confer the honour of a Knighthood on Captain Shakespeare after the Council on Saturday? Also on Captain Sartorius, Admiral in the service of the Queen of Portugal? Palmerston tells Her Majesty what his services have been. Also on Colonel La Saussaye, who served with distinction in the Civil War in Spain. Mr Buchanan, now paid Attaché at St Petersburg, to be Secretary of Legation at Florence. Mr Turner to go to Mobile in the United States.
