DescriptionPrivate letter from Berlin. Baron Stockmar saw it, and the King of Hanover apparently abandoned the intention of visiting England this year. When, however, he saw his visit not welcome, he changed his intention. The letter states the King's proposal to waive his rank of Sovereign as far as possible in England, and take his seat in the Lords.
