DescriptionWard's motion, which declares the Law assigning the whole of the Ecclesiastical Property in Ireland to the clergy of a small section of the population to be a Law not conformable to reason, or to the practice of any Christian country. He recommended the assumption by the State of the whole of the Revenues of the Church, and allotment of Revenues to various sections - Established Church, Roman Catholic, Presbyterian.
