Description
Queen Victoria's return from her visit to Belgium. Peel has heard with pleasure of her reception, and anticipates much in way of friendly feelings. Sir J. Graham has written as to the state of South Wales [mining districts]. Peel proposes early Council to issue a Proclamation. A fine harvest (owing to beautiful weather) likely to lead to reasonable prices next year. Indications of improvement in all branches of trade.
