All remaining Civil Service Estimates votes taken. Shiel asked for papers respecting the position of France in Algiers. Negatived. Peel deprecated these constant discussions on delicate matters of international policy. Hume's motion for an Address to Queen Victoria to consider the Laws and Regulations of the Royal Academy, with a view to rendering it more conducive to the advancement of the Fine Arts. Negatived.
