Description
Mr Daly gratefully accepts an Irish Peerage, and wishes to take the title of Lord Dunsandale. Peel tells Lord Heytesbury that while Queen Victoria suggested the Earl of Clare for the vacant Ribbon [of the Order of St Patrick], the Marquess of Ormonde is entitled to the first future vacancy. Heytesbury concurs. The vacancy is due to the death of Lord Downshire.
