Thanksgiving for the victories [of the Indian Army]. Precedent in regard to victories of Salamanca and Waterloo. No separate day appointed, but an Order in Council issued for the preparation of a Form of Prayer and Thanks giving. Peel proposes the same course for the Indian victories, and gives his reasons.
