Proposed inquiry into a complaint by a Mr Toulmin, of the conduct of the Board of Excise in searching his house for an illicit still. Negatived. Peel relieved, although the majority was only 9. Peel promised a day for the Ten Hour Factory Bill as soon as the Corn Bill and Tariff shall have finally passed.
