DescriptionRussell saw letter of Prince of Holstein, and wrote to Palmerston, concurring in his suggested answer. Russell does not think any application can be made to Parliament for Maids of Honour of the late Queen Adelaide. He suggests a way for meeting the difficulty, but will consult Act of Parliament first. Russell says present aspect of public affairs, more favourable than since he came into office.
