DescriptionRussell sends drafts from Palmerston. One relates to supposed plot of Austrian police to inveigle Hungarian refugees. Russell concurs with Queen Victoria that no further inquiry ought to be made, but thinks evidence of plot strong. Another draft relates to a hospital at Asterabad. It does not seem advisable to Russell to keep up the irritation of the Russian Government, and Russell desires that his sentiments on this should be known to Palmerston.
