Description
Russell returns the letter [from the Princess of Prussia] to Queen Victoria, remarking that the prospect of Germany is a very fearful one. Difficult to say what course, or whether any course, is safe. Navigation Bill: Russell says calculations give a majority of 9 or 10 in the Lords, and not less than 4 or 5.
