DescriptionPublic business is more advanced in the Commons, with the exception of Estimates, than for many years. Encumbered Estates Bill went through Committee with little opposition. No doubt of it passing. Russell says the division in the Lords [on Amendment] may be considered as conclusive as to the fate of the Navigation Bill. Lansdowne's and Grey's able speeches.
