Description
House of Commons business proceeding slowly, but many important bills yet to be introduced. Lord Mulgrave to be opposed at Scarborough bye election by Young. Committee of Supply for Civil Service. Russell submits that when Queen Victoria goes to the City the Sheriffs should be knighted. If Her Majesty approves they might attend on Thursday for that purpose.
