Description | Russell submits Cabinet's opinions on Surrender of Crown Patronage. Factories Bill considered, as amended, and settled; but by a majority of one against Lord Ashley, who wanted the words 'No child' inserted. On the main question Government had a majority of 39. Metropolitan Interments Bill concluded in Committee. Russell consulted with the Speaker, with a view to a second Division, in case of an Address. The Speaker concurs. |
